Very useful golf chipping tips

Try these stunning golf chipping tips to help you improve your shortgame.

The below tips will help you put some good fundamentals in place, but if you really want to take your chipping to the next level, I would strongly advise that you to invest in this great chipping e-book.
1. I set the angle of the shaft so it is more vertical and resembles the upright angle of my putter.
2. When I address the ball, the club rests more on the toe than it would for a full shot - this helps me to get a good, clean strike onto the ball.
3. The grip end of the club is pointing towards the middle of my body, and my weight is evenly distributed between the balls of my feet and heels.
4. I grip the club lightly, since this helps me with better feel.
5. On the backswing, I hinge my wrists and hold for a slight pause before commencing with the follow-through.
6. During the follow-through, I always try to keep the back of my left hand moving on a line parallel to the target line. This action helps me keep the clubface square to the target.
When I started playing golf, I really struggled to get consistency around the greens.
I now know that I was inconsistent because I tried to alter the trajectory of the ball with my stroke. I was trying to ?scoop? the ball up instead of letting the club do the work.
I came across a stunning technique which relies mainly on the ball positioning to control the ball?s trajectory. If someone asked me to share only one golf chipping tip, this would be it!
The idea is to simply change my ball?s position (depending on the type of chip shot I need to play) and keep my stoke the same.
Whichever situation I am in, I always use a stance about one foot wide with the same basic chipping action.
This set-up allows me to play the only three types of chip shots I really need around the course:

Ball position: Forward, inside my left heel.
Shaft angle: Upright, with my hands directly in line with the ball.
Clubface: Slightly open, to add some loft.

Ball position: In the middle of my stance.
Shaft angle: Slightly forward with my hands in front of the ball.
Clubface: Neutral, using the club?s designed loft.

Ball position: Back, inside my right heel.
Shaft angle: Well forward, with my hands well ahead of the clubhead.
Clubface: Square ? the forward leaning of my hands will take some loft off the face allowing the ball to run more.
